Aiming to reduce embodied carbon emissions in certain construction materials, the City of Los Angeles will be the first city to fully adopt and implement the Buy Clean California Act (AB262). BCCA is state legislation that requires an Environmental Product Declaration and sets maximum global warming potential limits. The City is establishing the standard for all capital improvement projects to meet BCCA requirements as of July 1st at the local level.
