Shana Kelley is the Director of Sustainable Design at KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle. She leads KPFF’s internal Life Cycle Assessment practice group and developed a firm-wide Embodied Carbon Action Plan as part of KPFF’s SE 2050 Commitment. She is also active in the local Seattle CLF chapter, leading sessions on embodied carbon tool use and the incorporation of sustainability requirements into project specifications. Nationally, Shana is the chair of the American Concrete Institute Concrete Building Code (ACI 318) Sustainability Subcommittee, working to incorporate sustainability provisions into the national concrete code.
